Helicorp, S.A. is a San Jose, Costa Rica based FAA approved Part 145 Repair Station specializing in the rebuild and recertification of both fixed wing aircraft and helicopters.

In addition, it is one of Central America's most respected light aircraft and helicopter maintenance facilities servicing aircraft based throughout the region. 

Our modern 14,000 SF facility is conveniently located at Tobias Bolaños International Airport only a short ten minute drive from downtown San Jose.

We are staffed by a highly skilled labor force that includes an on staff FAA DAR (Designated Airworthiness Representative), an FAA IA (Authorized Inspector) and U.S. - licensed A & P mechanics. Sample Image

Our unique designation as an aviation free trade zone allows aircraft to be imported and exported into our facilities duty free along with any parts and equipment that are needed during the overhaul and re-certification process.

Helicorp Costa Rica is a an authorized engine overhaul facility specializing in Textron Lycoming and Continental engines and we also specialize in stripping and painting, interiors, avionics and component overhaul

The Federal Aviation Act of 1958 created the agency under the name Federal Aviation Agency. They adopted their present name in 1967 when they became a part of the Department of Transportation. Their major roles include:
